I have always wanted to go to Australia, and in fact, many people have told me how much I would love it there. There is also Nepenthe Vineyards which is in Australia; I believe they also came up with their name after visiting the restaurant. Thank you for your thoughts and memories too; I also believe Nepenthe to be a refuge for artists and a place that nourishes the soul. Brava to you for recreating your own Nepenthe. I moved to Australia in the 1970's and now have 5-acre property in Tasmania with a heirloom fruit orchard and vegetable garden. We named this property Nepenthe after all wonderful experiences and sentiments that your Nepenthe means for so many people such as a refuge and gathering for artists and others and all to be nourished. Needless to say I can't wait to receive your book but it will take a few weeks to get here. Can't wait! Congratulations on all your positive reviews and the appreciation that flows from so many.
