Another fantastic event in the spirit of my Nepenthe, this time at Caffe Trieste on Piedmont Ave. in Oakland, CA.. Caffe Trieste has a long history as the beloved bohemian haunt of San Francisco, and recently expanded into this favorite East Bay neighborhood. Great staff, great people, great scene. Many have asked about where books are available in the bay area, they are currently at the following stores: Books Inc., Mrs. Dalloway’s, Booksmith, Book Passage, and Omnivore Books. Please support your local bookstores; and if your neighborhood store doesn’t carry it, you might ask them to. Signed copies of My Nepenthe are also available on line through the Phoenix Shop. If you order by the 28th of November, you can ask to have them personalized.
